Contract Negotiation Highlights

  • Tony Boselli (2nd overall pick in the NFL Draft) became the highest paid offensive lineman in the history of the NFL in 1999 with a 6-year, $28 million dollar contract which included $8 million in guaranteed money
  • Negotiated a $41 million dollar contract for WR Rod Smith of the Denver Broncos in 2002 which included $11 million in guaranteed money

  • In only his 3rd NFL season and first as a starter on the defensive line, Jay Ratliff of the Dallas Cowboys received a 5-year, $20.5 million dollar contract extension in 2007 which also included $8 million in guaranteed money

  • Daniel Graham of the Denver Broncos became the highest paid tight end in the history of the NFL with a 5-year, $30 million dollar contract in 2007 which included $15 million in guaranteed money

  • In 2009 and with only one start in a 4 year NFL career on his resume, offensive lineman Frank Omiyale received a 4 year, $14 million dollar contract from the Chicago Bears which included first year money of $6.3 million dollars

  • In 2010, the agents at Ascent negotiated a 5-year $22 million dollar contract for defensive tackle, Justin Bannan, which included 7 million in guaranteed money
